Privacy Policy

The short version
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and has no forms. The price questionnaire works entirely in your browser — your answers never leave your device. Personal data only comes into play when you choose to book a call or make a payment, and both of those happen on the booking and payment providers' own pages.
Who we are
Webbirch ("we", "us") — [company legal name], registered address [registered address] — operates webbirch.com. For any privacy question, contact [contact email].
What data we collect
- On this website: nothing you type. There are no forms or accounts, and the pricing questionnaire runs locally in your browser without sending answers to us.
- When you email us: your name, email address, and whatever you write.
- When you book a call: the name, email, and time slot you give Cal.com, our scheduling provider.
- When you pay: the name, email, billing details, and payment card information you give Stripe, our payment provider. Card details go to Stripe only — we never see or store full card numbers.
- Technical logs: the site is served by Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses and request data to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
How we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry and hold the call you booked.
- To provide the services you buy, take payment, and keep required records.
- To keep the website available and secure.
Lawful basis (UK & EU GDPR)
We process personal data under the UK GDPR and, for visitors in the European Economic Area, the EU GDPR: on the basis of contract (taking the steps you ask for and delivering services you buy), legitimate interests (responding to enquiries, operating and securing the site), legal obligation (keeping tax and accounting records), and consent where we ask for it.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or tracking of any kind, so there is no cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first. When you use Stripe's payment pages or Cal.com's booking pages, those services set their own cookies under their own policies (linked below).
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. It is shared only with the providers needed to run the site and service:
- Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery (privacy policy)
- Stripe — payment processing (privacy policy)
- Cal.com — call scheduling (privacy policy)
International transfers
These providers are headquartered in the United States, so some data is transferred outside the UK/EEA. Those transfers are protected by UK- and EU-approved safeguards — the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension, or Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
Retention
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Transaction and invoicing records are kept for as long as tax law requires — six years in the UK. We delete personal data once there is no longer a reason to hold it.
Your rights
Under the UK and EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis. To exercise any of these, contact [contact email]. Most of our customers are in the UK and EU; if you are somewhere else, we extend you the same rights wherever your local law grants them.
Automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling. The on-page price calculator only does arithmetic in your browser — it stores and sends nothing.
Complaints
In the UK you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). In the EU/EEA you can contact the data-protection authority in your country. We'd appreciate the chance to sort it out first — email [contact email].
Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
